About Me
My name is Cynthia Paul and I have always been artistically inclined. I have always been interested in perspective and how people perceive things, especially in photography. Photography is not my only creative outlet. I also love to paint, draw, and create useful but also beautiful crafts for friends and family.
I started dabbling in photography in high school, where I found myself armed with my mother's professional grade camera in the popular photography course at my school. My favorite part about learning how to be behind the lens is capturing the unexpected moments in life. I love candid moments and usually prefer it but I also am skilled at posed portraits that give character to the photo.
I learned before Photoshop and Lightroom were available to the general public, as digital images were just emerging for photography. I preferred film photography for years but succumbed to the digital age and Photoshop years later.
I love being able to showcase my talents with the unexpected moments, loving memories, and the sweet faces of children through the various forms of social media and my website.
My photography is like an extension of me that I want to put out in the world. Personally, what started out as a hobby grew into a passion. A picture tells a story, a memory, and emotions that lay behind the lens.
